I was asked by my good friend, Shelia, to design a blog header/logo for her new little company. I really like the way it turned out! I am excited that she is starting to sell her wonderful-handmade creations...check out her blog for some photos...and stay-tuned for her etsy shop opening soon!

When I saw this blog over on a cup of jo, it reminded me of the beautiful rainbow I saw when I was in Negril, Jamaica last spring.
I would love to be back in that warm weather surrounded by crystal blue waters.

Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth. Genesis 9:16

Have you glanced at GOOP, the site by Gwyneth Paltrow? I like the simple and clean design of the site...makes it easy to navigate. There are a few recipes on the site I've been meaning to try, like the caramelized black pepper chicken and the buckwheat and banana pancakes (reminds me of the pancakes my momma makes). Yum! Such a cute site!

I will have a dog. And when that day comes, I am going to have a difficult time deciding between these three breeds: boston terrier, pug and cavalier king charles spaniel.

The Doug Fir Lounge in Portland and stay at the Jupiter Hotel. I'd love to grab a meal at the restaurant and catch a live show in the lounge. I really like the retro-lodgy ambiance they've got going on.
