· one hundred must tries? ·

Over on the site Very Good Taste, they have posted what they consider to be a list of 100 things "every good omnivore should have tried at least once in their life".

VGT's disclaimer: "The list includes fine food, strange food, everyday food and even some pretty bad food - but a good omnivore should really try it all."

Here is what they want us to do:
1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating.
4) Optional extra: Post a comment here at www.verygoodtaste.co.uk linking to your results.

A few of my own notes:
• I have put my personal thoughts in parentheses.
• I had to look a lot of stuff up on wikipedia.
• I realized I have tried a wide-range of foods...and that I don't eat at nice restaurants like I used to.
• If you decide to personalize this list, be forewarned: it takes a while.
• If I had to add one of my own must tries, it would be this:

Vacherin Glacé by fofie57

Tell me, what would you add to this list?
