I have been on a shopping freeze for several months now...money is tight you know. But with the warm weather rolling in, I had to look at some of the new spring clothing hitting the stores. So last Friday I took a stroll through Georgetown and I popped into Urban Outfitters... which may have been a bad idea when I'm trying to watch my money. Cute sundresses and skirts abound! I could have scooped up an armful of beautiful springtime outfits, but I negotiated with myself (does anyone else do this?) and bought just the one navy and tan sundress you see above. I think the stripped dress would be a super cute beach cover up...and I really like these sandals.

I managed to get a couple snapshots last weekend at Ocean City. The sunset was beautiful...those colors were not altered! I also had a little fun with the settings on my camera. The beach seems so long ago even though it was just last weekend...I put in a lot of long hard hours this week working and can't wait for this weekend...I need a little R & R!

Ocean City...Maryland...that is where I am headed this weekend with a bunch of friends. I know Ocean City is far from glamorous but I am looking forward to getting out of town and hanging out with some good friends. And if I'm lucky, I'll snap a few beautiful photos like the one above by inherdarkroom. Have a great weekend all!

Tried this place for coffee this past weekend. The coffee was great and there were a lot of great photo ops...from the beans in glass jars, to beans stacked in the corner, the roaster out in the open and the white brick building. I wish misha's was around the corner from my apartment...but a fifteen minute drive into Old Town isn't too bad. I love finding non-Sbux coffee houses! Don't you?

If you like lavender then you'll love Aveda's limited edition light the way candle. Once a year Aveda releases a lavender scented candle to support global and local clean water projects. I purchased last year's candle and I have thoroughly enjoyed the aroma of the candle. And the ten dollar price tag is very wallet friendly.
